Lucy’s roses

Well, the roses did last into Monday, but only just.  However, the wonderful thing about roses is that they look just as good in the last throes of death as they do when they’ve just bloomed.  I wanted to do a looser, more impressionistic study of them and may yet put a glaze over the back blooms to send them further into the background and make the front ones ‘pop’.  I will post it again once they paint has dried and I have amended it so you can see what you think.
