Turnips and tiles

I’m just loving turnips at the moment (painting them that is). I once had the most delicious stir-fry involving turnips in a Korean restaurant in Bangkok. Wish I could emulate it. In the meantime, just love these purple-bottomed lovelies. I think maybe I painted them because I went to see Wuthering Heights last night…………..very good, very arty, low budget as in lots of Yorkshire mud and no soundtrack………very bleak, very ” turnips for breakfast, dinner and tea……eee ek”.
