Daffodil bunch
No, I haven’t been up since 4am painting. I missed yesterday having been on a brilliant all day course and so here’s what should have gone out then. A friend came by the other day and bought this as it was drying on the kitchen shelf.
Spring is definitely here now – the dog and I have just walked up the road to find the daffs on the roadside have opened. There is a cacophony of bleating from the farm behind us where they are turning out the new lambs with their mums. I can stand for hours watching them over our garden wall. The light this morning is fantastic and makes me want to paint outside. Alas no time, it’s going to have to be a couple of onions before hot-tailing it to watch a netball match. Hockey match in Surrey tomorrow, another long drive and definitely not compatible with daily painting. By the way, I’ll be watching that too in case anyone was under the misapprehension that I was fit or young enough to play – I wish.
beutiful, well done!
beautiful even!
Thanks Nigel. I thought for a minute there you were adopting a Norfolk accent.
Gorgeous daffs, Penny.
Loved the reminder of the baby lambs.
memories of hikes accross the moors came flooding back.
Thanks Julie. Are you a Brit in the US?
