Daffs and jug II
After a rather hectic few days it’s nice to get back behind the easel. A two-day trip to Felixstowe to deliver paintings and attend the PV was tiring but fun. I met other past students of my old art school, Ipswich School of Art and was amazed to hear it is now a council-run gallery and has moved from its splendid location. We spent a happy couple of hours reminiscing about tutors, students and the pub across the road! Sunday was spent in the driving rain and howling winds on the side of a hockey pitch watching daughter play in tournament – I think I’ve just about dried out and warmed up. Parental love is a powerful drug!
