Colman’s and wallpaper
I thought I’d try another painting of object on a high shelf and made straight for the Colman’s. It must be that cheery yellow in this gloomy weather. Speaking of which, yesterday’s trip to Queens was a complete washout. We sat for hours waiting for it to stop, feasting on outrageously expensive sandwiches sitting on the floor (all chairs were taken and some brave souls sat outside in the rain to watch Nadal nail the Open on the big screen). We soon thought better of it, went off to the NPG to see the exhibition of HM Portraits and then repaired to a pub on Baker Street to watch England v. France. An odd day for a sports unenthusiast.
Sorry you had a gloomy day, but your painting is very sunny! Love your style.
