I got a bit carried away yesterday and went AWOL.  I had meant to come home and paint after a sociable morning/lunchtime but failed to get back before the light started to fade.  Anyway, it was very nice to catch up with friends all the same.  I’ve been painting this morning and now I’m off to watch hockey in the sunshine…..does life get any better?  Probably, but I’m fairly easily pleased.  A big bar of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk might add to my joy but after two weeks in Italy I’m on nil-by-mouth………….almost.
