Plums and Enamel Bowl

8”x8” oil on gessoboard

I had a day away from the easel yesterday and took my daughter to London.  We saw the Pre-Raphaelites show at the Tate (brilliant) which got me back into wallpaper mode with all that decorative detailing.  After a horrid couple of hours on Oxford Street (why oh why) we had a nice bowl of pasta and then went to see Jumpy at the Duke of York which I can thoroughly recommend.  A brilliant cast headed by the wonderful Tamsin Greig and a side-splitting script.   Take your daughter although she may squirm at the references to middle-aged sex. Oooeeew
