More daffodils and today I heard the first bleating of lambs in the lane so despite forecasts of snow, I’m definitely feeling that spring thing. Apart from the fact that is that it’s freezing cold but that’s a good excuse to light the fire and catch up with Borgen.

A bit of a daffs week so far. Once I see them in the supermarket at a pound a bunch, I know that spring isn’t far away. I spent Sunday prepping boards i.e. priming them and then layers of gesso whilst Jobbers put together my fab new Ikea shelving in the studio…………….we’re good to go.

So, those lovely hyacinths got unwrapped, chopped short and bunged in a glass. Cést la vie. I disappeared at the end of the week to Somerset to see my sister so didn’t post this.
