Venice

I’m back from gorgeous Venice and had a great time painting with painter friends from both sides of the pond. I’m still a bit of a virgin plein-air painter so my work was fairly sketch-like. I struggled with the fast-changing light so need to finish them off now that I’m back. A bit more practice and I should be able to get down what I want to say in the allotted time. I’ll just have to go back! Here are a few snaps while I get myself together again in the studio.
