Still going! This was done on a rainy morning last week when the light was bad so I had to use electric light, although a daylight bulb helps to keep the colours true.

So this morning, being somewhat over-run with pomegranates, which, incidentally are nice and cheap here, I had one for breakfast. A bowl of yoghurt with the seeds and a dash of honey……mmmm, naughty but nice.

The radish frenzy is over (do I hear a sigh of relief?), so I’ve moved on to pomegranates. It’s all about seasonal fayre here so I have to paint what there is about. Of course, without those disgusting chemical preservatives, it all goes off quickly but it’s far better for you even if it does have to be doused in Milton.

Well, lockdown was mercifully brief. It seems that Karachi saw most of the protests. The Burns night ball was great fun and my eight some reel is coming on a treat. I managed not to harm anyone at all. This is the last of the radishes.

Hot chocolate cup
This cute little cup and saucer is from Belgium and was used to serve chocolat chaude. More accurately, it’s from my friend’s cupboards which I am continually raiding. I am blessed with generous-spirited friends! Another lockdown today due to protests against certain cartoons. Hey-ho, it’s that time of year when there’s much practice for tomorrow’s Burns night bash so the afternoon will be spent perfecting my gay Gordon’s.

This blue nod white pottery is made in Multan Pakistan and is steadily growing on me. I thought it was a little crude at first but it’s a case of sifting through till you find the quality.

Eggshells and Cambodian cup
Well, we didn’t get put on lockdown so it was fine! Spent the morning yesterday walking in the Margalla hills that surround the city in beautiful sunshine.
