One-day Workshop

Penny German, a Northamptonshire artist who produces a small still-life painting each day is running…..

A one-day workshop in the beautiful Rookery Farm Studios, Silverstone where we will be working on a small still life in oils.  It doesn’t matter if you haven’t painted in oils before or are a regular painter, we will take it at your pace.

The workshop will start with a demonstration and we will tackle set-up and composition, tonal values, edges and colour.  The price will include all materials (student quality oils), coffee/tea and a delicious lunch served in the farmhouse.  Maximum class size 8.

What to bring:

Please wear old clothes and bring an apron if you have one. It can be messy!

If you have brushes, a good palette or good quality oil paints that you prefer to use, do please bring them.

                           Tuesday 12th May

Times:               10-4pm with an hour’s  break for lunch

Price:                  £85.00

Please email me at  [email protected] to book or with any questions.  A 50% deposit is required on booking and the balance to be paid 4 weeks before the workshop. Money is not refundable within two weeks of workshop unless the place can be filled. If there are not enough students, the workshop will be cancelled and all monies returned.

For those doing repeat workshop. Tuesday 12th May is best.

Bed and breakfast accommodation can be arranged for those coming from afar.
