Lemons and bowl

Welcome to all my new blogee friends who signed up to join me when I met them at Patchings at the weekend. Lovely to have you aboard. My very, very exciting news is that I won three awards there including The Artist purchase prize chosen by non other than the amazing Ken Howard (bit of a fan, did you guess?). You can see the painting that I won with here https://www.patchingsartcentre.co.uk/TALP/TALP_Exhibition/gallery_view.php?Ref=%3F461_1&Entrant=%3F54febc724ad0f
Another exciting day tomorrow so make sure you tune in!
Lemons are the order of the day today.

Westbury asparagus

Locally-grown asparagus – you can’t beat it! Next bit of news is, while I was offline, I passed the four-year mark! Have been daily painting now for four years and so, keeping to tradition, I will be giving a daily painting away in the free prize draw in mid-July. You have to be in it to win it so if you haven’t subscribed, now’s the time. Just put your email address in the subscribe box to the right of this page. If you’ve received this by email, you’re already there! Good luck. More happy news tomorrow!

Sorry it’s been soooo long since I last posted but a lot’s been happening. I will have to update you in dribs and drabs so settle back for a long ride! Firstly I’ve been finishing paintings and seem to have been spending a lot of time in the car! More about that later. Just back from Patchings which was huge fun and I had a brilliant bit of news. More on that later too though as I’m currently sitting having a long-overdue haircut. Here’s some lilac for your perusal which sold at the weekend while I was at Patchings.
