Norfolk pears
What a busy week! Now I’m trying to clean out my studio in anticipation of my Open Studios next weekend when I hope to see lots of people 😉 14th, 15th & 16th 10am-1pm or by appointment.
Yesterday I was up at the Mall Galleries and had a look at the Royal Society of Marine Artists annual show which was just fab! Amazing show full of amazing work. Anyway, was delighted to find that my painting of Westbury Asparagus was selected for the Royal Society of Oil Painter’s annual which begins on 30th November and runs until 13th December. But before that is Windsor Art Fair no 7th,8th,9th November so let me know if you’d like a ticket for either pv.
In the meantime, I’ve been painting the lovely pears I bought in Norfolk from Ken’s veg stall when Mo Teeuw and I stopped to pick up Haidee-Jo for lunch. She was painting the stall as she does so well while Mo and I battled with some cows which kept moving. They’re still going strong and still pretty delicious. Cute little red things…….very juicy – the pears, not the cows. Have a great weekend. I’ll be locked in my studio with a broom and a damp rag.
Oh, I only just saw this! You DID paint them – and I missed it
Yes Mo, I did! Lovely little things they were although by the time I’d painted them they were past eating.
