Primrose in a cup

Not sure what’s going on but this year I have had loads of these primroses popping up in the lawn and now they’ve been followed by little white violets……..very weird but quite welcome.  The little cup was one of my Reykyavik purchases from a talented potter called Bjarni Sigurdsson.  His ceramics were a little bit too tempting and at Icelandic prices……a bit of a treat.
