First flowers

Well after a lovely week in Cumbria, it’s back to the grindstone and it’s peony season……yipee! I’ve been painting them like a mad thing but before I show you those, thought I’d share this one. These are some first ‘boyfriend flowers’ that have been residing in our house. Since she couldn’t take them with her, I thought I’d hurriedly commit them to canvas (well, gessoboard) for her.
