Lemons and cherries

Just about settled back on my perch after the trip to Patchings.  Always such good fun with lots of new artists and old friends to catch up with plus lots of lovely customers.  A big welcome to all my new subscribers.  It was lovely to meet you all.  I did a few oil sketches whilst I was there and here is one of them.  I can’t quite believe our luck with the weather and am just waiting for the stooks in our village to be cut and stacked so that I can go and paint them.  In the meantime, I’m still busy catching up on gallery work and trying to fit in a few painting trips in between.  I have workshops on Monday and Tuesday in Yardley Hastings, Northants at their gorgeous new art centre.  There’s room for one more if you’re interested.

Lemons and bowl

Long time no post!  It’s been a bit of a hectic summer so far so forgive the lack in blogging.  I wanted to let you know, I’ll be at Patchings Arts Festival, near Nottingham this coming weekend, Thursday-Saturday inclusive and would love to see you if you’re coming.  I will have ‘not so dailies’ and also larger works plus info on workshops, painting holiday etc.  In the meantime, I’m working on that newsletter!

Enjoy the weather, the tennis and the football.
