Cherries and paper
Blimey, it’s scorccio today! Far too hot for plein-air painting so am staying in the relative cool of my studio and also packing up the car for hanging tomorrow at Childwickbury Arts Fair. Hope to see some of you there.

No painting yesterday as family matters took priority. So, let me show you a larger painting that will be wending it’s way to Childwickbury next week. Thanks to all those who sent info on where Sweet Williams got their name. It seems that William Duke of Northumberland is most likely but maybe we’ll never know for sure.
I was very sad to hear of the demise of B.B.King today. He’s kept me company in the studio for many years (on the iPod!). Sad day. Here’s another demo piece from this week’s workshops. I’m going off line for a couple of weeks while I do some travelling, finish up work for Patchings and Childwickbury and hopefully get round the Moonwalk tomorrow night. Wish me luck and see you in two weeks.
Just back from setting up at Childwickbury and…..forgot to take a photo! Will post one tomorrow although, maybe you’re planning to come. Hope so, it’s going to be fun. Here’s one that’s gone on the wall
While I’m sad not to be at Patchings Festival this year, as I will still be in Pakistan this coming weekend, I’m delighted to say I shall be exhibiting and demonstrating at Childwickbury Arts Fair on 4th, 5th and 6th July so…..come on down for lots of art, music and food – I would love to see you.
