Parrot tulip in a glass

One of the gorgeous tulips used by the Country Living stylist for the house shoot a couple of weeks ago. Sadly, they expired before I had time to paint them en masse so this is a sole survivor. Just getting back into the swing of things here before I hit the easel again next week.

Welcome to all my lovely new subscribers.  It was great to meet you all at Windsor and/or the Country Living Fair.  I am sooooo tired today that I haven’t been painting but I did this one beforehand thankfully.  I’m hoping that the picture as I’ve been experiencing a technical glitch or two today.  If not, I’ll post it tomorrow.  I also spent most of the morning stooped over, retracing my steps after walking the dog.   I eventually found my housekeys lying in a puddle on the lane……..I really need to sew up the hole in my coat pocket.

Yesterday was very busy at the Country Living Fair.  Today I have been packing up the car for the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair this weekend and am off in the morning.  Here’s another of the larger paintings that will be going with me and I have also posted a photo of it in its infancy……at blocking in stage.  I will also have plenty of daily paintings.  I hope to see some of you at the fair.  If you get this on social broadcasting, I’d be very grateful if you could ”share” or ”retweet” …………get me!  Well, every little helps.
