8”x8”, oil on gessoboard-SOLD

I found these in the kitchen garden at Tyntesfield the other day.  No, I didn’t pick them, they were in a jug next to an honesty box.   To my mind they are quintessentially English though I dare say they were imported at some point.  Summer just isn’t summer without a jar on the mantelpiece.   Summer?
